eLearning Birds South Africa' is designed specifically to teach and try a person's ability to identify birds in the field, focusing only on sight and sounds of birds.

This App is designed specifically for Field Guide students and is a Study Aid and not a typical bird app.

eLearning Birds covers the entire of South Africa and its Nine Biomes regions, including 660 bird species with more than 5000 images and 600 bird calls.
By working through different bird lists and slides, the user is taught the calls and appearance of the birds in a very easy and simple process.
In traditional bird apps, birds are typically presented in the order of name, picture, and call. This app introduces birds in a various order: 1st the bird's call, then its picture, and lastly its name.

This change in the 'Order of Introduction' may seem trivial, but it has a significant impact on the user's ability to remember and recognize bird calls.
It's necessary to note that this is not a traditional bird app; there are a lot of great bird apps providing copious amounts of info regarding birds. This application focuses on teaching the user to identify birds via sight or sounds.
